Eyebrows are a funny thing, when you think about them.
Two little strips of hair just plonked on our faces.
Our brows are arguably the least discussed part of our makeup routines, yet they make a massive difference to our faces.
Watch: Speaking of brows - here's 6 facts about body hair that will surprise you. Post continues below.
Erin recently compiled a list of the best eyebrow gels — the ones that don’t flake or go too shiny. Eyebrow gel should set the hairs in place, but not look like you've sprayed hairspray on your face.
One of my favourites was on the list, but I also rate a bunch of other brow products to promote growth, fill in my patchy bits and get an overall fuller look.
Benefit Precisely My Brow Detailer, $42.
This is one of the newest brow products from Benefit and in my opinion, the best. The tip is so, so fine, almost like a needlepoint, so it's perfect for creating super realistic feather strokes. There's a small clear rubber tip that protects the thin pencil from snapping when you apply.
NYK1 BrowForce Eyebrow Growth Serum, $87.
The lash version of this growth serum was recommended by Hannah English and Erin did a personal road test with amazing results. I bought the brow one for my mum who has thinning eyebrows and she is so impressed with the results. As with any growth product, you have to use it diligently over a period of time for it to work.
Maybelline Tattoo Brow 3 Day Eyebrow Gel Tint, $26.99.
This is a clever peel-off brow tint. You apply it and then leave it for about 20 minutes while it sets, then as the name suggests, peel it away. The colour doesn't last a full three days for me, but it's great for holidays when swimming or if you're a regular gym goer.
